Scott P. Gillespie
Scott is our founder and owner of The Gillespie Company (TGC). Scott is a graduate of Michigan State University with a BS in Construction Management and a native of Lansing, MI. He has been actively involved in construction management since 1995 and has served as Lead Construction Executive on over 185 condominiums, over 1,800 apartments, and over 250,000 square feet of office/commercial space. His commitment to his hometown and passion for “building a better community” lead Scott to establish TGC in 2006. Scott currently resides in East Lansing with his wife Sara and their two children.
James is our Construction Director and Project Manager. He has been working in construction for over 18 years and been in construction management for over 10 years. He was born and raised in the Lansing area and obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from Michigan State University.
Upon graduating he moved to Birmingham, MI where he expanded his experience into multiple aspects of Residential Construction.

Jodi Weber Crouch
Jodi is our Controller & Property Manager. She has been working within the real estate, and property management field as well as bookkeeping for over 15+ years. She was born, raised and still resides in the Grand Ledge area and earn her Bachelor Degree from Spring Arbor University.
Lauren is our Development and Office Manager. She guides the process of a development to hand off to our construction team and orchestrates the daily care and operations of The Gillespie Company (TGC) team and office. She does not come from a development and construction background, but is quickly learning the ins and outs and is having fun. Lauren is a natural communicator and bossypants, so most of the transition is not difficult. She is thrilled to be a part of The Gillespie Company (TGC) Team and is looking forward to the exciting times to come.
Thomas (Tom) Clifton is our Project Superintendent. Tom is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. He has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry and has been a superintendent for over 20 years and is MIOSHA certified. Tom’s extensive knowledge in all phases of construction from excavation and earthwork to building finishes brings great value to our team. His experience has ranged from all building types including:
